ET1. PARKER "51" Princess fountain pen with yellow diamond-shape rhinestone inserts. Stunning and very rare. Excellent to near mint condition. One of the hardest and rarest 51s. Test marketed only in very limited numbers in the mid-1950s. Most examples found have clear stones in the baguette or tear drop shape. See my page on the "51" Princess for more information. It wil be a long time before you see another example like this one for sale, $3,200

XJ164. PARKER "51" vacumatic "First Year" double jewel in Cordovan Brown with Sterling Silver cap. Near mint pen with very little wear. Double metal jewels where cap jewel is clearly sterling and barrel jewel is aluminum as sometimes found in first year pens. Imprint on blindcap. Clip has curious shield attachment that says "100 Club", probably a sales award of some kind. Aluminum speedline filler. Meduim 14k nib. XF21. PARKER "51" vacumatic from new old stock parts in aerometric Burgandy. In the 1950s, Parker was still repairing old vacumatic 51s and when it ran out of the proper Cordovan Brown plastic of the vacumatic, replacement parts were made using the aerometric plastic stock. The same was done for the Dove Gray vacumatic plastic uing the Navy Gray aerometric plastic, but this is by far the rarest of the two. This barrel is from a parts stock of a closed down repair shop. Vacumatic filler is still pliable. Cannot be returned if filled or dipped. $500
