Bagatelle Boxes No. 276  Made in U.S.A.

Ca. 1955-1956

A Ca. 1955 Parker “51” Bagatelle set advertised as an “Evening Purse Gift Set”, available in either Gold Filled or Lustroloy.  Pens were Demi-sized with a Liquid Lead pencil.  Noticed the inside marked “Parker 51”.  Similar versions covered in other fabrics (as illustrated above) were also offered, some as “Day Purse Gift Set”.

A Ca. 1955 Parker “51” Coronet Gentlemen’s Gift Case.  Box was made to be used as jewelry box by removing the upper compartment cover to reveal a velvet line space.

Large box for “51” set, ca. 1960.  Came with a rare canadian solid Sterling Silver ballpoint and pencil set.  It does not have a box number or country of origin.
